The weekend seemed like a daze. We had been searching for a dog for a few weeks with no luck. Found plently of dogs but none of them felt right. We had talked about how we both love Labs and wish we had the room for one. Finally saturday afternoon as we where walking around the pound there she was, a bueatiful chocolate lab mix that was a little over a year old that is just a touch smaller than Lily. We kept looking and then Vanessa decided she wanted that dog. we went back to get her papers and the papers where gone. Someone had preadopted her not even a minute before we got to her cage. It felt like someone punched me in the gut, countless time looking for dogs and finally when we find the one she is gone. But we counted our blessings and moved on.
Needless to say, it was a long week but could have been a lot worse.
Finally yesturday as I was cleaning the church a thought crossed my mind and it hit me like a break as I heard in my spirit "Why don't you just ask me?"
So I asked, I can't wait to share the rest of this story with you guys tomorrow! Its a great ending but I can't share it just yet.
